Active Travel

Active Travel is very simple, it is about getting more of us out of our cars and using more sustainable transport modes like cycling and walking as part of a purposeful journey. To achieve this, Limerick City and County Council Active Travel Team, in partnership with the National Transport Authority is currently implementing plans based on the Limerick Metropolitan Cycle Network Study to expand and improve our cycling and pedestrian infrastructure.
